Preparing for Your Morpheus8 Body Treatment
We recommend staying well-hydrated in the weeks leading up to your treatment, as hydrated skin responds better to radiofrequency energy. If applicable, you may also be advised to avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements for a set period of time before your treatment.
Protecting your skin from sun exposure for at least several weeks prior to your treatment is vital to achieving optimal results. As for the day of treatment, wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing.
We will cover any other individualized instructions and precautions in a consultation appointment. We will also work with you to customize your treatment plan, including establishing the ideal number of sessions and treatment parameters for your situation.
The Morpheus8 Body Treatment Process
First, you may be given a topical numbing cream to decrease discomfort. Pro-Nox is also available upon request. Once the skin is prepared and you’re ready for treatment, we will systematically pass the treatment device over the targeted area(s) in a grid-like fashion. You may feel some warmth and slight pressure during the treatment.
Most sessions range between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area. Immediately following your treatment, the skin may appear red and slightly swollen, similar to a mild sunburn.
