What Does a Manicure Involve?
A manicure is one of our nail services that involves a lot more than having somebody else apply nail polish to your nails. Having somebody remove your old nail polish and then apply new polish is simply a polish change.
During a full manicure, we will remove any old nail polish and file and shape the client’s nails. While there are several different techniques to pick from, the client should choose one that goes with their nails’ natural shape, for they will stay stronger that way.
We will also work on the client’s cuticles., applying a cuticle cream and then pushing the cuticles down to form an even line. We will also soak and massage the client’s hands. From there, the polish may be applied.
What About a Pedicure?
A pedicure is quite similar, only the nail tech works on the feet rather than the hands. One big difference is that we will have the client sit with their feet in a foot bath. Soaking the feet in warm water will make it easier for us to remove any calluses and other issues. We can also apply a moisturizer to the feet and lower legs.
What Do Acrylic Full Set and Acrylic Fill Mean?
Acrylic nails are artificial nails that are often used as extensions and are also one of our most popular nail services. The real nails keep growing and, eventually, a visible gap appears between the cuticle and the end of the acrylic nail.
